Daimler plans engine factory in Poland

Daimler said it plans to invest about 500 million euros ($575 million) in a new engine factory in Poland to broaden its production footprint outside its German home market.

Ford Motor Co. today officially launches production of the redesigned Ford Mustang at a U.S. plant in Flat Rock, Michigan. With the new model, Ford is building the Mustang to suit global tastes for the first time. That will include a first-ever right-hand-drive version.

Toyota produced the millionth engine at TMIP plant in Poland

The millionth engine was produced at Toyota Motor Industries Poland (TMIP) this week. It will be delivered to Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK (TMUK) and assembled on a Toyota Avensis.
